During a camping trip, you’ll often be utilizing a tent and knowing some tent basics will go a long way. The first thing I wanted to cover is to find a flat area for the tent. Another thing to look for is a shaded area if possible. I like having my tent in a shaded area by some structure, so I can tie my tent off as well as stake it down. Additionally, I like to always put the rainfly on, even if there is no rain in the forecast. The cleaner your tent, the better, so don’t be afraid to keep it clean.
