Salted Caramel Apple Dip Over The Campfire

Move over S’mores. There’s a new campfire dessert in town. This Salted Caramel Apple Dip is a sweet and salty masterpiece of melty goodness. Using a crisp apple as the dipper just solidifies why we love everything about this recipe. After a long day outdoors, we feel like we deserve a treat and making this dip around the campfire is not only easy but delicious.

Salted Caramel Apple Dip

We always tend to make recipes that require few ingredients and little work while we are at the campsite, like these lemon and blueberry cakes made in oranges. Spending half your time preparing meals is not how most people want to spend what is supposed to be a relaxing weekend camping. The salted caramel apple dip only requires 6 ingredients and can be put together in minutes. Using cast iron over the campfire is always suggested as it helps keep an even heat, is meant to hold up to the high temperatures and is super easy to clean when you’re done using it.

We have now made this recipe several times for different groups we have been camping with and it is raved about every time. If you have a sweet tooth, this recipe is a match made in heaven for you.
