What is Slacklining?

Slacklining is a practice in balance that typically uses 1 inch nylon webbing tensioned between two anchor points. It is different from tight-roping because the line does not need to be as taut, and allows for more stretching and bouncing like a trampoline. Slacklining is also different because the tension can be adjusted to accommodate different users. You can even get different types of webbing for certain tricks and jumps. You may be thinking, why can’t I just use a rope? The difference is that slacklining is flat and keeps slackliner’s feet from rolling like it would if it were on a rope.
