Tangy Jolly Rancher Lemonade

This Jolly Rancher Lemonade will have the kiddos coming back for more!

You’re going to love this sweet campsite twist on Jolly Rancher Lemonade. In 1949 a man by the name of Bill Harmsen began making ice cream and other confections in Golden, Colorado and selling most of his products in Denver. However, it was tough sledding selling ice cream in the wintertime in Colorado, so he switched his focus to the hard candies that we know as Jolly Ranchers. The name was created to evoke a friendly, welcoming feeling for customers. The original flavors of Jolly Ranchers candies were: watermelon, grape, apple, and Fire Stix.

Jolly Ranchers are primarily eaten solo, but this recipe is a way to spark additional flavor in lemonade or unsweetened ice tea. It probably goes without saying, but Jolly Rancher Lemonade is delicious with a little vodka on a hot summer day!
