Sites #32, #33, #48, #49, & 70, #71, #72 are the waterfront sites, these are always the most popular sites. If you like camping during the winter months, you are sure to enjoy the new bathhouses that are heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. There is a washateria on site for your convenience as well.
Getting To Know Pleasure RV Point Park
When was Pleasure Point RV Park founded? How did it start?
Pleasure Point Park plans were approved December 1969. The Recreation Parks were conceived in 1969 as part of the FERC relicensing process. FERC required that recreational facilities be included in Toledo Bend Reservoir.
What are the most popular activities in the park?
People enjoy many different activities at Pleasure Point Park. The most popular activities usually involve the water as the park is located on the south end of Toledo Bend Reservoir. The reservoir offers great fishing, boating, sailing and jet skiing opportunists. There is a beautiful sandy beach to swim at or launch a canoe from. The park has many great hiking and biking trails that are also conducive for bird watching.

Pleasure Point Park is located 5 miles north of Toledo Dam in Florien. (1190 Pleasure Point Road, Florien, LA 71429. Phone: 318-565-4810). There are many fun activities around Florien such as the beautiful Hodges Gardens, Fort Jesup State Historic Site, Bailey Memorial Garden, Toledo Bend Dam, Cypress Bend Golf Resort, Museum of West Louisiana, Tack-A-Paw Canoeing Expeditions, and South Toledo Bend State Park.
What are the campsites like within the park? Are they more open or secluded?
The park has a total of 126 RV sites with 20, 30, 50 amp service. The 31 daily campsites are water and electricity only. The park has a dump station for the sewer to be disposed. 50 of the monthly sites are full hook-ups (water, sewer, and elec.) with 45 of the monthly sites having water and electricity only. The majority of the park is more open. The waterfront pads and first 2-3 rows of pads are more open. The pads in the back of the park up on the hill and the full hook-up monthly pad section are more secluded. There are also some waterfront primitive camping spots.
