Dark and Stormy Zinger
 
Who doesn’t love a good Dark & Stormy? This tangy spin on a classic will be your go-to, with its ginger, lime, and apple flavoring. Yes, please!

Ingredients
  • Lime wedge
  • 4 oz. ginger beer
  • ¼ oz. lime juice
  • 2 oz. dark rum (we used Captain Morgan)
  • 2 oz. apple cider

Instructions
  1. Combine the cider, rum, and lime juice in an ice-filled highball glass.
  2. Top with ginger beer and garnish with the lime wedge.

 

Midnight Maple Cider
 
Impress your squad with this fancy sipper. Just sit back and watch their jaws drop. You’ve earned it.

Ingredients
  • 3 Tbsp. gold rum (we used Bacardi Gold)
  • 2 Tbsp. brandy
  • 1 ½ Tbsp. apple cider
  • 1 tsp. pure maple syrup
  • ¾ tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 thin apple slices
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Star anise

Instructions
  1. Combine rum, brandy, cider, syrup, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker; fill with ice.
  2. Cover and shake until cold.
  3. Strain into 2 glasses.
  4. Garnish with apple slices, star anise, and cinnamon sticks.

 

Sweet Apple Margarita
 
We believe that margaritas are a year-round kind of cocktail, and this delicious contender will not disappoint.

Ingredients
  • 1 oz. Grand Marnier
  • 1 oz. gold tequila
  • 5-6 oz. sweet apple cider
  • Orange and apple slices
  • Cinnamon sticks
  • Honey
  • Star anise
  • *Optional: Cinnamon, cane sugar, coarse sugar (used for glass rimming)

Instructions
  1. Add a few spoonfuls of cinnamon, cane sugar, and coarse sugar to a small plate.
  2. Run an orange slice around the rim of the glass, then press into the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat the rim.
  3. Add a few orange slices in the bottom of the glass, fill with ice, then add Grand Marnier, tequila, apple cider, and a few drops of honey; stir to mix.
  4. Garnish with apple slices, star anise, and cinnamon sticks.

 

Orange Cider Brew

  • 1 orange slice
  • 6 oz. lager or pumpkin beer
  • 6 oz. apple cider

Instructions
  1. Combine the lager (or pumpkin beer) and cider in a tall chilled pilsner glass.
  2. Garnish with the orange slice.

  • 1 bottle of pinot grigio
  • 2 ½ cups apple cider
  • 1 cup club soda
  • ½ oz. ginger brandy
  • 3 Honeycrisp apples, chopped
  • 3 pears, chopped
  • Cinnamon sticks

Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pitcher and stir together.
  2. Refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving.
  3. Add cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional).
  4. *Note: Regular brandy can also be used – we prefer to use ginger brandy for a greater autumnal flavor.

 

Vanilla Cider Tea
 
Get cozy in your favorite camping lounger with this hot drink and you’ll quickly drift into sweet, cider-y bliss. Ahhh.

Ingredients
  • 2 thin lemon slices
  • 1 black tea bag
  • â…› tsp. pure vanilla extract
  • 2 oz. rum (we used Captain Morgan)
  • 8 oz. apple cider

Instructions
  1. Bring the cider and vanilla to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and add the tea bag (to mug); steep 3 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bag and stir in the gin.
  4. Serve warm with lemon slices.
